We hope you had a memorable and safe Thanksgiving without any unnecessary contact with cover-19.
It has been a long nine months of sacrifice, and depriving ourselves of some of our basic everyday activities. Socializing, dining out, shopping, going to church, and traveling, just to name a few, have all been placed on the back burner. Although it is difficult to continue like this much longer, if we adhere to the CDC’s guidelines, and with the vaccine being ready within the next few months, we hope to have this terrible disease under control soon.
At Tingling Ortho we have had to make some drastic and significant changes to ensure the safety of our Patients and Staff alike. Upon entering the office, everyone is screened and hands sanitized. Everyone wears masks, and for some procedures we use face shields. We have reduced the number of patients seen each day to allow us enough time to thoroughly clean the chairs after each use. We also encourage anyone who is not receiving dental care to wait in their cars until we are done with the patient’s treatment. We will call them inside to schedule the next appointment and to take care of any additional business at hand.
Of course, we make exceptions to our covid safety protocols for new patients, and the very young ones who request their parents support.
I hope that by the time spring comes around we will be able to start making up for our sacrifices and gradually return to some semblance of normalcy.
